Cyberpunk 2077 Item Upgrading Guide
It is essential to upgrade your equipment in order to maximize your gearing potential. It allows you to add bonus stats onto the value of your item's base level.

Upgrade components
The method of upgrading armor, weapons and other gear in Cyberpunk 2077 was redesigned as part of the 2.0 update. Upgrade components are available throughout Night City, and the item you wish to upgrade must have an upgrade slot available. The items that can be upgraded include armor and weapons, a few trinkets, and gathering tools. Enhancements are only obtainable using a high-end salvaging kit or an upgrade extractor.
Recycled items
